Zargeth's Theme
Name: Zargeth.
Species: Reploid. (While the picture I posted is human, that's just the basic idea of his appearance.)
Affiliation/Occupation: Maverick Hunter.
Hunter Rank: Class C.
Physical Description: Being a lofty Reploid in general, Zargeth towers over most average height people. He takes pride in his tall stature (Well, he's not THAT tall, but you get the point), however it does place him in trouble as well, being unable to fit into smaller vacant spaces. Since his overall robotic skeleton is crafted out to be way more humanoid to fit the new design older models have been adapting to in order to match the New Gens, he's able to wear clothes. As such, he adores his extra-large in fitting size burgoyne coat and cargo pants. Having blue shades, he prefers wearing them during a heated battle, as he abhors any kind of distraction that'll throw off his aim. Natural distractions like a beam of light from the sun and other eyesores. Other than the focus problem, he generally wears them just because he likes them and they fit his style.
Equipment: Technically, Zargeth only has one weapon, which is a large gatling gun. However, it can disassemble into different types of fire arms. His ammo is semi-limitless, however with a rather hefty price: it requires his own energy. His ammo are shots of plasma and requires energy he generates from within his body. So as long as he can stand and fight, he can keep firing. Once he's exhausted, he's finished.
Blazer-2: The second model Gatling Gun developed by Zargeth's creator. It can not function without the disassembled weapons attached to it's main exterior. The barrel can fire six rounds of plasma shots-per second at regular intervals and is his most dangerous weapon at his disposal. He can't, however fire it for too long, as it expends his energy the most out of all his weaponry.
Alpha & Omega: A pair of disassembled pistols from Blazer, as well as Zargeth's favorite and primary weapons to use. Compared to the gatling gun and the shotgun, the pistols aren't heavy at all. As such, they allow him to maneuver around the way he prefers and grants him the versatility to be more stylish with his attacks. While they are the weakest in firepower out of all the weapons, he prefers multiple shots with no recovery time to a single, powerful shot with a slight cooldown rate that could possibly miss and grant his enemies an unfortunate and quick opening.
Dragoon: A shotgun that is the final disassembled weapon from Blazer. Mainly using this weapon for more powerful damage, he mainly uses this weapon against tougher defensive opponents; when Alpha & Omega are useless. It's not exactly too heavy, so he can fire it with one arm. However, it still fires rather slow and shoots in singles, requiring a second or two for another shot.
Skills/Techniques: Zargeth's fighting style is quite sporadic. It's meant to be tricky and hard to follow so that his opponents can't catch onto his movements, causing difficulty to find patterns and flaws that are obviously there. As such, this leaves the hunter equally balanced when it comes to power vs. speed. He doesn't solely focus/rely on one or the other and is the symbol of balance. So when faced against one that has their focus on one or the other, he's generally beat. To put it more simply, when he's against a single-strength trait opponent, they have him outmatched in that area alone, but still has a fighting chance due to having overall versatility with both attributes. However, he DOES value accuracy the most. Quick focus is Zargeth's specialty and without that perfect aim, he could end up in quite a bind.
Hyper Mode:
Punisher: Since his fighting style provides all the variety he needs, Zargeth's Hyper Mode isn't impressive like most people's. It's only uses are to grant him increased time to fire the Blazer when combined, as well as grant him increased firing speed to improve damage output.
Backstory: During the Bio-roid war, Zargeth...along with his partner; another Reploid, Nazareth was created for the sole purpose of combating the invading machines. They both were created by a human scientist by the name of Dr. James Blazer, who voluntarily joined the hunters indirectly to battle their enemies. The good doctor had a reputation of crafting sturdy weaponry and strong combat Reploids. However, Zargeth and Nazareth were his gold medals compared to his other Reploids. They were built with perfect balance in mind, his past creations being nothing but raw power...and with the Bio-roids having abnormal traits, they tore his creations limb from limb when they were fielded.
So the two where then enlisted into the hunters and were placed under D rank. While they qualified for an immediate C rank, the two had to be strictly supervised due to Blazer's creations coming back home as nothing but piles of molten scrap during the coming battles. Zargeth was programmed with more emotion and control, while Nazareth killed with no hesitation and generally didn't care for his surroundings. While Zargeth was envious of his brother's ability to not hesitate, this always caused the two to argue back and forth, as Zargeth was genuinely concerned for his brother's safety with his reckless and heartless actions. Sometimes it would escalate to philosophical arguments about right or wrong...sometimes during battle. If it wasn't for the other D and C Class Hunters accompanying them on their missions, they would have been killed by sneak attacks from the Bio-roids.
On one mission where they went solo and teamed up, they were stationed on the outskirts of a neighboring city of Abel on a patrol mission. While they didn't know what to expect other than more 'roids, they began to doubt they would be useful. However to their surprise, Bio-roids were beamed directly into the city and the two immediately called for back-up. But as they entered the city, they finally witnessed the true definition of “slaughter”. When back-up arrived and handled the situation accordingly, the enemy attacked so quickly that it was impossible to save everyone. Though the events affected the two brothers differently. The result left Zargeth overall traumatized and Nazareth had a rather...surprising reaction to it: his lust for battle increased extraordinarily.
About a year passed and the two continued to be supervised, still unable to promote to their required rank due to their complications of regulation. However one day, their dear creator's lab was attacked during an attack on the city and they used the HQ's IT bay to arrive along with a small squad of other hunters accompanying them. During the battle, Blazer was severely injured beyond treatment and bestowed his twin prized weapons that he named after himself to his creations, Blazer 1 and 2. Nazareth received the first model while Zargeth was granted the second. The death of their creator further created more emotional struggles on Zargeth, though Nazareth reacted the same as the last year...his blood lust had grown.
It wasn't much of a day later that Nazareth called out his brother to the rooftops of Hunter HQ, as no reports of Bio-roids were issued to the hunters and at the time, there was a surprise assembly for every hunter in the base. As such, the two were the only ones currently absent at the time from the gathering. When they arrived on the roof, a simple chat transformed to an immediate struggle; Nazareth disassembling his Blazer and pointing his shotgun at his brother. Zargeth pleaded him to tell him what he was doing, but was overall saddened that his brother...went Maverick. Though it was even more of a surprise that Nazareth confessed to being this way ever since their beginning days of their time there. The sly fox managed to hide his dysfunction the entire time. Nazareth earnestly believed that Reploids were being held down, that they needed to take advantage of supremacy and eliminate the weak. He held no reason to protect the humans...and demonstrated it by aiming his weapon at an unsuspecting human hunter volunteer from the distance, who was not at the gathering for some odd reason...the poor victim had their head blown clean off. Thrown into an immediate rage, Zargeth unleashed Alpha & Omega and fired away at his now-Maverick brother.
After a long and bloody gun fight, Zargeth emerged the victor and held his brother at gun point. However, he was swift to admit that he was too hesitant to kill his own brother, Maverick or not. While Nazareth could have taken advantage of this, he insisted on his brother to pull the trigger instead. Other than the fact that he was going to meet his doom at the hands of the hunters that heard the commotion from below, he desired Zargeth to live so he can face the reality and so-called “fate” of the Reploids. This did nothing but bash a mixture of emotions onto the peaceful hunter, but Nazareth threatened to kill more people if he wasn't killed on the spot, starting with the incoming hunters were were soon to arrive. Zargeth was torn between the decision, but as he recalled the memory of the slaughtered city and the death of Blazer, he made up his mind and immediately tightened his trigger finger...having a single tear drop fall from his eye to his robotic skin as he directly murdered his brother.
A few years passed after the event and Zargeth suffered even more losses after his brother. The war toughened him up and he began to gradually lose his natural kindness, beginning to evolve similarly like his crazed brother...he loved to battle. This even caused him to receive his required promotion to C Class. With everything he devoted his protection to destroyed, he had no future of his own to look forward to...that he had to fight so the world can see it's own future outcome. But his enjoyment of battle differed from Nazareth's. He still desired to protect and fight for justice...and he couldn't do that while being a wuss in battle. In order to meet that goal, he had to make fighting his favorite thing to engage in. He adored it like a hobby afterward. So in order to protect, there was only one solution: to blow off every enemy's freakin' heads clean off their shoulders.
Personality: Even though he's the near perfect image of what a hunter's attitude and personality would be composed of, Zargeth has his own unique personality to boot. He sees his hunter comrades as “too serious” most of the time and that they lack the drive, which to him is all about fighting. While he appears to be relaxed almost all the time, it is all but a hoax. He usually acts that way to deceive his enemies (and comrades too) to throw them off balance, as he isn't exactly a straight up guy. He prefers to attack things from different angles instead of approaching them the old fashion way. While he retains at least some kindness after the events of his life, Zargeth is generally blunt and carefree. This also causes some control problems when he's in the zone and fires like a mad man. However, he maintains his natural programming to protect the innocent from evil...and from him. He knows how to keep himself on a short leash, otherwise he's end up causing collateral damage or accidental injures to allies or bystanders.
