It had been nearly seven months since Juggernaut's last sighting, it had been proven time and time again that he was just as great at making an exit as he was at causing destruction. This time was a little different than his usual taunting the Maverick Hunters type of visit, since he had been gone he had made an interesting group of friends and something big was cooking underneath. This time his purpose was to cause more than just a distraction, but to test the Maverick Hunters. He needed to know current response times, who they would be willing to dispatch in a heavy crisis, skill levels...then cripple their forces. Of course this was play time all the same, he had no clear intent on killing anyone...though he usually did because some small time rookie didn't know when to call it a night. No, this time he just needed to make an assessment and embarrass a few heroes. Hit them in the ego a bit and shake up their confidence for the next encounter soon to come.
It actually felt good to step inside Abel City once again, he had an array of hiding locations and this was just not one of them. Not to say that he couldn't hide directly underneath the nose of Maverick Hunter HQ, there was just too much nostalgia floating around from when he used to be a respected Commander for the Hunter forces. Looking back it was almost kind of embarrassing, he believed in something entirely different back then, now he could give two s**ts about the Hunter mission...god what would his creator say about that? Sinking on that note brought a tiny yet devilish smirk to his face beneath that dusty ragged hooded cloak he was wearing over his 4ft self. The hydraulics in his heels and base of his feet would clack and rev mildly as he walked against the incoming traffic of the 6th sector highway. His casual stroll bewildering the drivers that frantically swerved out of his way and nearly crashing. The air more and more began to fill with passing honks of car horns and swearing drivers.
This of course made him giggle silently, he had heard some nasty things in his time but you'd be surprised the things you'd hear walking against the grain of incoming traffic. But one passing rhetorical question stuck in his mind, "You tryin' to get yourself killed!?", his smile faded and returned his face to a blank expression as a rather large truck headed his way, warning him with a series of long tug honks. "Ive yet to find the one that can.", he said low to himself as he curled his left fist and sent it barreling inside the grill of the truck just moments away from crushing him. The momentum was already provided by the truck, Juggernaut's insane strength took care of the rest when he lifted and shoulder tossed the entire truck. The air filled with the horrific sound of bending metal as the frame of the truck shifted into the air before creating a thundering explosion from a breached fuel tank.
The explosion was massive and the rest of the incoming cars swerved in random directions creating a jam up ahead on the bridge that Juggernaut was oh so causally strolling toward. It wasn't a part of his plan but the exploding tanker was sure to work out in his favor and gain the attention of emergency dispatch. Usually a low grade Hunter would be dispatched with emergency response thinking it was nothing more than a freak road accident. Of course those would be the small fry to call in for back-up and get this pretty little show on the road. Now THAT brought the smile back to his face, looking over his shoulder his optics would assess the damage and possible body counts. With an explosion like that there were a number of deaths for sure, the size of the explosion alone could probably be seen as a bright flash from Downtown Abel City. God, imagine how funny that would look on the news once they pulled the camera footage...a four foot nothing red reploid shoulder tossing a semi and causing a traffic back up? Priceless.
By now his tread of footsteps lead him to the bridge, jumping onto the hood of a car and seeing an unconscious family through the windshield. These poor humans...and it was only about to get worse for them, he stepped down and grabbed that car by the hood, crunching up a small mass of it's frame within his fingers and sliding it back behind him in gentle grace. Enough for the car to slide twenty feet without flipping then coming to a complete stop. "Thats my one good deed for the month.", he said as he turned his attention back to the bridge in front of him. The gears inside his right forearm shifted and sent a signal to his charge unit. Building his power up steadily the piston inside that arm would cock back and ready itself for impact, his cyber muscles tensed as his power charged up, the display inside his eyes telling him his current level of strength output. Save the numbers in which Juggernaut automatically knew how to translate, the calculations read level 2.
It was a good thing that nobody was around to witness his facial expression up close, because the look of pleasure on his face was sure to give a human child nightmares for years to come. His tongue slipped forward and licked across the top row of his teeth from left to right before slamming that powered fist into the ground in front of him. As the fist slammed down, the piston inside his forearm would slam forward to match the impact of his fist creating a devastating addition of nightmarish strength. Initially, the point of impact would crater outward into a perfect fifty foot circle, debris of large and small variants would propel upwards into the air and send a shock wave of both sound and dirt mashed up into one large spreading mass of a ring. The sound was just a loud as when the tanker exploded just moments ago which might have given the impression that there were two explosions in the distance. They would soon find that that was only the tip of the iceberg.
It took a moment for the reaction to occur, but the shock wave from the fist had a delayed effect that was about to send a lot of heads rolling once the media caught onto the matter. The kinetic trauma from the impact broke all the way through to the other side of the bridge, which was indicated seconds later when the entire bridge waved once like rolling water then shattered into a micro-structure of dirt and rocks. The only thing left of the bridge were it's metallic cables and the mass of cars which were about to take a strait drop. That drop to the water was at least a hundred feet, looking over his shoulder to the car he pulled out of the way he would give a maniacal smile and say, "You're welcome.". Of course the family inside that car were knocked out cold so they had no idea what was going on one way or the other. The people and reploids taking that strait drop just now however did, indicated by the amass of collective screams falling toward the water.
Now all he had to do was wait, emergency response would be here soon and a larger number of Hunters too since the entire bridge was taken out. This was so exciting to him, crossing his arms over his chest he would chuckle silently to himself as indicated by his bouncing torso covered by that tattered dusty hooded cloak billowing in the wind behind him. The air was still heavily engulfed in the fresh dust and dirt from the bridge, partly hiding his appearance...not that he was trying to hide anyway...

The clock begins now.
