With the new Zenny system in place, now it's time for me to give you the specifics of this monetary system.
There are various ways to gain Zenny (In-game money), and it's primarily through RPing. By posting regularly in an RP topic, you gain +20 Zenny per post. This is about the simplest, yet easier way to gain Zenny. However, 20 Zenny per post won't cut it if you like to go on a wild shopping spree. As such, the others ways to gain more Zenny are participating in Arcs, completing an RP topic, taking jobs via Mission Select, and other special events staff members way hold that grant Zenny/Item rewards.
By completing an RP thread, the amount of Zenny rewarded to you depends on these two key factors: The length of the topic and what actually went on during. If you were just fighting off a small band of crooks for about one or two pages, your Zenny reward won't really be too impressive and if anything, you'd have gained more Zenny by just posting normally compared to the amount you've received at the end. But say you were faced with a giant rampant and berserk mechaniloid that takes a lot more effort to defeat and the battle might drag on for over four or five pages, the Zenny reward would be much more impressive. This is also to encourage players to finish their topics so they can have extra Zenny, for in most RP sites, there are more inactive and incomplete threads than finished ones. When it comes to PvP battles, Zenny rewards are quite average, but definitely not small. And if a combination of all of those said events were to occur in one huge topic, you'd likely receive Zenny rewards on par to completed Arc topics. Threads with multiple characters in them, you'll receive Zenny rewards depending on what your character was doing in the thread. If they were just a sitting duck for most of the time, they won't get much despite all the stuff going on. Lastly, solo topics grant very little Zenny rewards, but you still get something.
When it comes to gaining Zenny via Arcs, it's a bit self-explanatory. By participating in Arcs, each topic you're in, you'll gain a Zenny reward for each completed topic (since Arcs are likely more than one topic). There will also be a bonus Zenny reward for everyone when the arc is concluded (regardless of who the arc runner is, the Staff decides the Zenny rewards). Depending on your character's role in the arc, they'll gain Zenny based off that fact. If for some reason the arc has to be rushed to completion due to the Arc creator dropping out without warning and holding things up for months, then the Zenny rewards will be reduced for said member (If it's a problem in the very beginning, then no Zenny reward at all). However, everyone else will still gain something nice since there's no need for the good to suffer for the bad.
Zenny is obviously used to buy stuff, so you'll be able to purchase Items and Usable Weapons from the shops. All detailed information regarding how to purchase and all are within the appropriate threads there.
I hope everyone likes the Zenny System and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
