Name: Jeff Solaris
Species: Reploid (Formerly Human)
Affiliation/Occupation: Mercenary
Hunter Rank: N/A
Physical Description:
When not fighting:
When Fighting:
Equipment:
Unlimited supply of lab coats, goggles and robotics tools. Blue Print Paper. PDA.
Phoenix Crest: This sword is made out of Titanium X. It is also made out of Iridium which is part of the metal alloy used in the body of Jeff. Phoenix Crest has sensors so that it 'knows' if anyone other than Jeff is wielding them. The blade retaliates by igniting on fire if anyone other than him attempts to wield this sword without his permission. This sword is red and gold and styled like a powerful Phoenix, one of his preferred weapons. His main style with this is to fight with either a one handed grip or a two handed depending on how much power he needs.
Fire Soul Cannon:
The Fire Soul Cannon is a unique rifle like weapon that Jeff has designed. It is capable of shooting both solid shell ammunition and also your typical lasers of the Megaman X Universe. It is also capable of shooting ammunition that Jeff has designed differently from most conventional ammunition.
Skills/Techniques:
Dragon Beam Cannon:
One of his techniques usable only when wielding the FS Cannon. This shoots a dragon like beam of energy out of it that homes in on a single opponent, to do high damage. 9 post cool down. 3 post charge.
Energy Constructs:
One of the techniques he has is to create constructs. These vary. Sometimes the constructs can be weapons but other times are more of barriers or even healing chambers to accelerate the recovery of allies. This strangely comes naturally to him in his Reploid body and does not need cool down or charge up.
Hammer Palm:
Rushing towards an enemy Jeff will form a small orb of energy in his palm and attack an enemy with it by slamming the orb of energy into their chest. The explosion knocks him back and causes him to suffer moderate damage while they will suffer severe damage from this attack at close quarters unless they have good armor. 12 post cool down.
Energy Turret:
The power source in his chest is not just there to keep him alive. It provides him several of his attacks that he can perform. One of which is creating a couple of missile turrets behind him, having them lock onto an enemy and then shooting. The missiles and also all of the turret are comprised of his energy. 10 post cool down, does medium damage.
Hammer Time:
A large almost comical mallet made out of red energy will appear above an enemy and smack into them doing modest damage and jarring some circuits if a bio-roid, reploid or cyborg. Likely it will give them a headache.
Energy Disc Cannon:
Energy Disc Cannon is one of his techniques that does not involve any weaponry. What it involves is him forming energy discs in his hands and then 'throwing' said discs at his opponent. The discs explode with enough power to blow a good sized hole in the building each. Currently he can only make 10 of these at a time. 15 post cool down.
Burning Disc Cannon:
One of the variants of energy disc cannon creates Energy Discs. Unlike normal these happen to be ignited with fire when they are sent out at an enemy. This increases their destructive power 25%. This means they could blow a building in two. Due to this he can only make 5 of these at a time. 20 post cool down.
Phoenix Regeneration:
Phoenix Regeneration is one of the abilities of Jeff. So his body could seem more human this was programmed in. Based off of how sometimes humans recovering from injuries hurts them physically this causes him pain. However if he were to ever suffer critical damage and nearly be offlined...at the cost of feeling immense agony for 10 posts without an anesthetic, he could recover 20-30% of his own health, allowing him to keep going.
Hyper Mode: TBR
Backstory:
When a routine mission to hunt down some rogue Mavericks went awry, Jeff's body suffered heavy amounts of damage and was almost too gone to save. Some of his doctors were reluctant to do it but they wheeled in a machine he had built in his lab. One that had never before been tested on an organic being. 15 at the time they experimented with the device for weeks and kept him in a coma so that they could preserve his life. Finally the machine hummed to life and uploaded his mind, his neural pattern into a Reploid body that he had made for just such an emergency. Examining himself in the mirror Jeff was at first shocked, but adapted.
Jeff started to retrain himself to fight. For he knew the day could come that he might need to fight again. His old body was gone and so was the neuromuscular memory he had with the katana. Jeff hammered and invented a new blade for himself as his old one had been destroyed in that battle gone wrong. Testing out the new limits of his powers Jeff learned that he no longer needed to eat or sleep, although he could still do the prior to boost his energy reserves due to the technology he had put into this body. It also possessed solar panels, a chest energy cell that seemed to never run out of energy and ways to plug in to recharge if ever he should need to do so. Jeff also started work on a new system and has recently installed it in himself.
Personality:
The transformation from human to Reploid has made Jeff more curious about his new abilities. It has also made him reluctant to use his full power on an enemy. Jeff is also very dedicated to his work. His transformation has also brought a question to his mind if he can still consider himself human or not due to having a completely mechanical body. Jeff is also nervous of how people will view him as the only human to ever be completely transferred from an organic body to that of a Reploid. Jeff also longs for a time when his body is repaired enough to be inhabited by him again. Given the human rate of healing he knows that will not be any time soon.
