Species: Cyborg.
Affiliation/Occupation: Maverick Hunter.
Hunter Rank: C
Physical Description:
Equipment: "Silent Buster" Rifle: A medium sized collapsable assault rifle that functions on the same principal as most plasma based weaponry. Unlike most, however, its firing mechanism is silent. However, the impact of its projectiles still make noise, so it's not completely silent.
Arm mounted beam-blades. They are integrated into his mechanical arms.
"Silent Buster" pistol: See the rifle, it's the same thing but made for up close wetwork. Slightly more stopping power, but much less range.
Optical camoflauge system: Makes him invisible to anything but infared sensors and thermal sensors for about five minutes, but requires ten minutes to recharge and be used again.
Skills/Techniques:Roy is a Stealth specialist. He is generally not that great in a head on fight, btu as a student of tactical warfare, he is at least serviceable in one, generally saving his OCS (Optical Camoflauge System) for when he is spotted, and using it to make a getaway. However, due to his nature as a cyborg, all of his limbs and most of his organs are cybdernetic, so he has enough strength and endurance to put up a good head to head fight. He generally relies on his guns, not closing the distance if heavily outnumbered.
Hyper Mode: Limiter Release: Temporarily releases his bionic-cardiac limiter, increasing his physical abilities tenfold, but he can only manage to keep it up for about four minutes (Four posts) before resuming function at a much reduced rate for 3 minutes (Three posts.)
NOTE: The exact time between posts varies, as will the exact time he can stay released. For example, if a post spans one or two seconds in time, I won't count it as a full minute. Such would be godmodding.
Backstory: Roy's life started out, well, in the spotlight. The son of a prominent scientist, Roy's father was constantly working on Reploids and the like and never really had time for him. His mother died during childbirth, so he was raised by an aunt who coddled the hell out of him. Because of his father's work, newspeople were constantly around the house. Sometimes even asking him weird questions he didn't understand. It was daunting for a young child, but he grew into the role of a trillionaire's son who never had to answer for anything. By fifteen he was already abusing his father's prestige to get into clubs and such, usually with bribes.
It just goes on from there, really. I could go on for ages about how bad a kid he was.
In any case, in his mid twenties, he was full on scumbag.
UNTIL THEFIRE NATION MAVERICKS ATTACKED
Essentially, he was throwing money around in some bar, hen a maverick plowed the door down and started firing. There were no survivors, Roy was pronounced dead on his way to the hospital. His father, however, decided not to let him stay dead. Having never been there for him up until now, he replaced Roy's ruined body parts with mechanical equivilants. He managed to "Reboot" Roy's brain by attatching what he called a bio-chip, which also keeps his body from rejecting the implants.
Immediately after adjusting to his new body, he watched the videos his father provided to regain the memories he had lost. He was horrified by his behaivor, and grateful to be given a clean slate, at least in regard to his own memories. About a year later, after his father had put him through intensive training regarding his own body and its new capabilities, he joined the Maverick Hunters.
When his father died, he found himself in the posession of a large sum of money. Withuot saying a word, he donated every last cent of it to homes for troubled children around the united states, and then stated that his father's estate was to be liquidated and the funds were to be used in the same way.
Several years later he is a rather accomplished, if underfunded, Maverick Hunter.
Personality: While Roy was once a self-serving brat, things have changed. He has moved from the rich-boy playboy lifestyle to one of serving the public, and his personality switch was sudden and jarring for those around him. Where he was once only concerned with making it into the pants of as many women as possible, now he takes his life very seriously. He is obsessed with charity, and making ammends for his previously self serving lifestyle. An all around good guy, nowadays, who would give his life to help others. He cares little for money, and uses most of what he makes to buy things he needs, or donates it to various charities.
