Name: Adaline 'Ada' Micros
Species: Cyborg
Affiliation/Occupation: Maverick Hunter
Hunter Rank: C class
Physical Description:
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance:
Off-Duty: Ada looks like a normal human overall when off duty. She has long brown hair, normally kept in a ponytail with one set of bangs covering her left eye. Her right eye shows an ocean blue iris that seems to pop out thanks to her tanned skin. She normally wears a black jacket over a white tee-shirt accompanied by blue pants and red shoes.
On-Duty: Ada puts on some extra armor when she's on duty. On top of a body suit, she wears plates of Titanium X armor around the front and back of her torso, bracers on her upper and lower arms, leggings around her lower legs, plates covering the sides of her upper legs, and a helmet that only covers the top of her head, leaving her ponytail out in the open (all armor has a purple theme). In all this, her armor is thinner than the usual Hunter would have, plus all her joints are exposed. However, this allows her to be at her fastest.
Also, only when on duty does she have the hair covering her left eye pushed back, showing her cybernetic red eye.
Equipment: Beam Daggers -- A pair of daggers that are not capable of dealing lethal strikes unless attacking critical points on a target. They have short reach, requiring Ada to get in close in order to deal any sort of damage, but normally takes several strikes to make any serious injuries.
Optic Night-vision: Ada's cybernetic eye allows her to see in the dark without the need of light and works separately from scanners. Perfect for Recon and needed assassinations.
Faint Signal: As scanners are a problem, Ada has a feature in her cybernetics that acts as a cloak. Scans may pick her up at first, but fades out just as quickly. It may make the scanner question itself on if there was even a signal there to begin with.
Scrambler: A device that creates interference to any and all scanners attempting to analyze the area within a 10 meter radius of it. However, it only lasts for 3 minutes (3 posts), so she should only use it to make her escape.
Skills/Techniques:
Hyper Mode: Code; Blur: Ada increases the power in her daggers to extend their reach to that of two swords and also overclocks her limbs to increase her speed in all aspects, making her a blur as she runs for 4 minutes (4 posts). However, despite the increased range in attack and blinding speed, her strength is still relatively weak, but the amount of times she could attack someone while this mode is engaged cane be rather dangerous if not taken seriously.
Once the limit is reached, her cybernetics enter a cool-down state for 3 minutes (3 posts), making her no faster than the average human. At this time, she needs to take cover, as her only edge in a fight is lost until her limbs are 'up to speed' again.
Backstory: Adaline Mircos was the daughter of a scientist and a medical practitioner in a city where the Bio-roids and Mavericks rarely visited. She was raised normally as much as any girl could, going to school, making friends, and spending time with her parents whenever they weren't working. She was almost carefree, only having the stresses of a normal person come up every now and then. When her father was promoted to a higher division in robotics, her mother took the chance to quit her job and become a stay-at-home mom. Since then, things were fairly simple...
However, one day when she was 17, Adaline and her mother was walking home from visiting some friends of the family. It seemed normal, but when they started to go past a building, there was an explosion. The were only two things that Ada, to this day, could remember from the event. One, she was in extreme pain. Two, she heard so many kinds sirens and screaming before finally passing out. By the time she woke back up, she found herself in a room. At first, she considered it a normal hospital room, but she then found several wires connected to her limbs, her eye (the right one as it was still organic) widening as she saw robotic parts replaced her arms and legs. Before she could start to panic, a nurse reploid came in and noticed she was awake, immediately going to reassure her that she was fine and that she shouldn't worry. Needless to say, Ada worried regardless. She wanted to know what all had happened to make her need new limbs, and she made sure to give the staff trouble until she got her wish.
Eventually, her father came in to tell her what had happened, but it was nothing good. The blast she and her mother was caught up in was from a Maverick attack. A lot of people and reploids died, her mother included, but Ada somehow was still hanging on to life. Her limbs were either severed or badly damaged, as well as the left side of her face. Ada's father then went to the left side of her head, pressing something that caused the sight in her left eye to work again, but acted like a computer as it turned on like a screen, following some codes coming up before working like a normal eye. "I couldn't lose you both," her father said.
It took time to get used to her new body, but thankfully it was only the limbs that needed replacement. She could still go though normal human activity, but she first ended up crushing a lot of things when she grabbed them. But since the event she was in, Ada paid close attention to the news, watching the final stretch of the Bio-roid Wars come to a close. However, she felt like she couldn't just sit at home doing nothing. Despite her father's wishes, she decided to join the Maverick Hunters, preparing by training as much as she could and eventually learning more about cybernetics to where she convinced both her father and the people tending to her robotic limbs to tune them down in strength, prioritizing speed above all else.
But even with this new resolve, she doesn't like the fact that her arms and legs are different from the rest of her body. Upon special request, a special coating was developed for Adaline, one that she could put on her arms and legs that looked, felt, and acted like real skin. "Do I have to look like a robot?" she would ask those who wondered why she chose to do this, both inside and outside Maverick Hunter HQ. No one questioned her since.
Personality: Adaline is a bit of a tomboy when one gets down to the wire. She always jumps at a chance to prove herself as a Maverick Hunter, though she can be a bit pushy and rebellious when she is turned down. Ada does try to listen to her superiors, but she gets easily offended when people say, "you're not ready for this yet." Not even she knows why she's like this, but it shows others her enthusiasm in the end.
One top of this, she can be rather brash and blunt both in words and actions. Although she has more control of herself in this aspect, her emotions often let a few words slip every now and then. However, she always has good intentions. She treats others, reploid, human, and cyborg, with equal respect as she feels, in her current state, there's no real difference between them anymore. They all have emotions and a mind, and often times she does find herself sympathizing with Mavericks, even though she is told that they are simply malfunctioning reploids. When alone, she finds herself wondering how much truth is actually behind that.
Behind her energetic and tomboyish persona, she's still a girl at heart. When off-duty, one could find her window-shopping, talking about everyday things with friends, or other things a normal girl/young woman would do. But if someone she knew in the Hunters found her doing this, she would do her best to put that persona back up and convince them otherwise... even if she knows it won't work. In truth, it's a wonder how she balances two different lifestyles.

Skills/Techniques:
- + Speed: Though most have increased strength in their cybernetics, Ada asked for her limbs to be tuned differently. She's really fast, topping that of a Reploid to the point where it's a signature style for the female Cyborg.
- + Reflex: Coupled with her speed, Ada's reflexes make her able to react to things beyond human ability, rivaling that of a Reploid.
- - Strength: Although her speed is something to be feared, she can't land much of a hit in one strike unless placed perfectly in a weak point, and I do mean 'perfectly'.
- - Durability: As a Cyborg, she is indeed tougher than a human, but she can't take many hits. Her limbs may be cybernetic, but she still retains many of her organs, making one hard punch to the gut knock the wind out of her fairly easily.
- Style; Hit and Run: Due to her lack of strength, any head to head battles she encounters makes her resort to 'hit n' run' tactics, having her to rush in at an opening, attack quickly, then create distance until another opening shows itself. It's a long way of doing it, but with her speed, she can become a real thorn in someone's side.
- Specialty; Recon/Assassination: Thanks to her specialties, Ada is best suited for going behind enemy lines undetected for either gathering intel or taking out any specific targets. One doesn't want to be in a dark room with her all alone.
Hyper Mode: Code; Blur: Ada increases the power in her daggers to extend their reach to that of two swords and also overclocks her limbs to increase her speed in all aspects, making her a blur as she runs for 4 minutes (4 posts).
