Here lies all of the factions within the RP, both official factions from the original MMX storyline and player created groups. No one has restrictions on what their faction's about or what it stands for, so be as creative as you like when considering creating a group. Also unless it's stated, be sure that others can join up with the faction if you don't mind having fun with other members who may be interested in joining up with you. However, it's perfectly fine if you don't want it as an option and just want the faction to be known public to the players. A faction is yours, so if it's for a personal plot for your character or just private for you and/or another only, you don't have to worry about posting it here and as long as it's known in your character profile, then it's all good. No one's forcing you to make it publicly open for other PCs!
Also, groups like Maverick aren't exactly an organized thing, just that if your character is labeled Maverick, they'll fall under the group. Similar groups like that applies to the same rule.
For the sake of making sure faction descriptions are accurate to your liking, please post your faction and their description in the format below. Even though we may know of the faction's existence, you are required to give your own description so we won't have any missed information or may have any inaccuracy within it. Once that's done, your faction will be edited into this post. Feel free to expand on this template if it's necessary.

Maverick Hunters:
A group composed of Reploids and Cyborgs that fight for the cause of preserving the peace against Maverick activity. They are the symbol of justice that most look up to and are made up of countless skilled soldiers, even the lower ranked. These brave soldiers have gone through Hell and back against the countless threats of the world and the tyrant Sigma's rebellion. Other organizations are inspired by their efforts throughout the centuries and they are the main force most depend on to give a nice serving of justice to those who break the law.

Reploid Police:
Once upon a time, this was no more than a simple faction within Abel City. But now, the Reploid Police Forces have split into international factions, assisting the hunters as best as they could. Ever since the Bio-roid war, however, they've began to strengthen their power so they wouldn't have to repeat their admittedly poor position in the war. While they are no hunters, each member has either been granted updated equipment or fully-blown conversions to Combat Reploids. However, the Reploid police is a tad different from the Hunters. Just as their name makes it obvious, they still have a strict rule on allowing humans to join their ranks...even Cyborgs. They still fall under the authority of the Maverick Hunters, so unless said human or cyborg has permission from the hunters, the police likely refuses any outside help if they involve themselves in Maverick activity or any other crime first. Each city's police commanders all follow one Head Chief who has control over every single faction, who now resides in Tokyo, Japan.

Mercenaries:
Freelance hunters who take on any job from any client, depending on the individual. Do not get them confused with Bounty Hunters, for mercenaries are either of good nature, neutral, or may have several shades of grey. They set their own priorities, work hours, and tasks they want to take. They have their freedom to make their own choices as long as it doesn't jeopardize the citizens of the world's safety. Long story short: They're either good or bad. Mercenaries either work together or go lone wolf. But overall, they aren't an "organization" or anything. As such, this group does not have a member or leader list.
(For any faction that is an organization of mercenaries, still submit it, for it'll be it's own unique group)

Bounty Hunters:
Basically, a Bounty Hunter is a much darker Mercenary. They are usually desperate and would take on literally any job they're given as long as they get paid, no matter how shady or heinous the task. Bounty Hunters aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty for the sake of the prize, nor do they fear of being labeled Maverick if they are a Reploid/Bio-roid. So if you want a loyal hired individual who is guaranteed to get the job done, then you might be able to depend on a Bounty Hunter more...however, do expect them to change their minds if they are offered a better job with a higher reward. They are easily won over by a larger quantity of wealth that benefits them. Just like Mercenaries, this group does not have a member or leader list. There is no organization.

Mavericks:
The bad boys (and gals) of this age. Maverick range from completely psychotic people or innocent individuals who were unfortunate enough to have the title slapped on their profile. In this time and age, the meaning of Maverick has been blown way out of proportion. Nowadays, people view Mavericks as the epitome of evil...while in truth, they are born from either malfunctions, misunderstood situations, or if they were just programmed to behave irregularly. The latter is the true threat however. If one is willingly a Maverick, then they possess the intelligence to devise more clever and mischievous plots. This group does not have any member or leader lists.

For Earth's Future Corporation (FEFC):
Player: Oracle
A corporation that stands is the authority on planning Earth's restoration and creating a peaceful future. They were originally a eco activist group but grew into a mega corp due to the influx of devotees worried for the future during the Sigma and Bio-roid wars. Now The FEFC has it's own teams of scientists and personal military called the 'Guiding Force'.
The FEFC is also a funder of Maverick Hunter Groups around the globe. They often offer missions to the hunters and pay very well. The corp has recently created the prototype reploid 'Oracle' out of a mysterious material found in a meteorite. The Oracle is the figurehead of the organization and is viewed nearly like a pope by the citizens of Neo Utopia (the city FECE's HQ flys around.). Rumors say the meteorite that was used to create the Celestial Metal is still within the HQ.
Location: England, hovering over Neo Utopia. A city that was once London.

The Counter-Hunter Syndicate (X-Hunters Reborn):
Player: Soul
A reborn faction of the Counter-Hunters (Also known as the X-Hunters) composed of elite reploids for the purpose of eliminating specific targets among the Maverick Hunter forces, namely X himself but not solely, in order to bring Sigma's dream to life. They operate among the shadows even among other Mavericks and are officially lead by a reborn version of one of the original Counter-Hunters...Agile himself. They are organized by a secret circle of masterminds who act as the brains behind the syndicate while others who serve the cause execute their will, some have even gone as far as to infiltrate other factions of interest such as the Maverick Hunters and many others for personal gain. Being that the Syndicate only rely on the elite, they will elect to find you....you do not find them. They make it their business not to be found.
